Let’s cut right to the chase, shall we?

These lovely, sparkly, enchanting rings were hand-created with a {Foolish for Light} reader in mind!

And one could be yours forever.

Check out what my dear friend and talented jewelry designer Christina of Grace Creations said about the ring in a recent email to me:

I will support you in anyway I can think of, including a donation for a giveaway!  I just finished it and I hope you like it.  I thought about the name of your blog and made something that I think is sparkly (light) and foolish.  This ring really isn’t very practical but it’s pretty and a conversation starter and will allow whoever wins it plenty of chances to talk about your blog.

Christina, you are amazing.  I absolutely love this ring and agree it’s the perfect sparkly conversation piece.  Maybe whoever wears it will get to start up a random but divine conversation with a stranger like I talked about over here.  You just never know!

When Christina snail-mailed the ring to me, low and behold…..there was not just one foolish ring, but two!  I’m not going to lie, I really want to keep one, but alas, there will be two lucky winners!  :)

A note to my male readers:

don’t be shy!  What a great gift for someone special….mom, wife, niece, girlfriend.  Real men try to win nice things for girls.  Just sayin.

A note to my female readers:

if you love the ring like I do, maybe you should ask your husband, dad, baby brother, or nephew to log on to {Foolish for Light} for a minute and submit an entry for you.  That’s not cheating.  That’s creative!

Enter to win 1 of 2 Grace Creations rings by leaving a comment at the end of this post answering this question:

Or, alternatively you could comment something like “Hey, I want that ring.”

All current subscribers have already been given one freebie entry and can score a second entry by commenting on this post.  Anyone who subscribes between now and the end of the giveaway will also be given a freebie entry, so now’s a great time to subscribe if you’ve been thinking about it.  Unsubscribe at any time, ya’ll.

{Click here to subscribe to receive emails when there are new Foolish for Light posts.  Fancy.}

Two randomly selected winners will be chosen before I go to bed on June 30th and announced on July 1st.  ;)

After you’ve subscribed and commented, check out  Christina’s fun mix of jewelry, clothes, even Scottie dog back packs (for only $27?!)  at her Etsy shop.

Christina’s creativity reminds me that we are made in the image of God, and not just any ol’ God, but a God who creates!  When we create, we look a little bit like the Father who made us.  Christina’s creativity–all creativity–is a mark of our maker and just look at Christina use her gifts to bless others.  That’s what I’m talking about.

Much love from my corner of the world to yours,

A birthday candle, and the impact it has on the recipient. That’s a true “sparkle”.

  • Kay Whan says:

I am prejudice, I think the creator of this prize, has a sparkling personality, reflected in the beauty of the ring!

When I think of sparkle, I think of jewelry… which I guess is appropriate for this giveaway. I remember the way my engagement ring “sparkled” when my now hubby of 6 years proposed!

  • Jenna says:

When I think of “sparkle”… I think of it as a personality trait and the radiance that comes from someone who is truly happy with their life in that moment.

  • Ben says:

I want that ring for my wife!

I always think of the lights at Christmas. Possibly one of my favorite times of year! I love grabbing a cup of hot cocoa and driving around neighborhoods just looking at lights. Or even better turning out all of the lights in the house and simply having the small sparklingly lights of the tree fill the room. Writing this just gets me excited for that time of year!!!

  • Ashley Trompeter says:

Why is it that my (and I’m sure all) wedding rings sparkle brightest in the house of god? Is it how the light comes through the stained glass windows? Or just the dimness of the overhead bulbs? Either way, I feel like maybe it’s god whispering to me ‘a marriage is so pretty with Me at the center.’ Indeed!

The first thought that comes to my mind is: your eyes. Not just any pair of eyes, but yours, Stacy. They sparkle, delight, dance, sing and they remind me that they are the window to the soul — and what a beautiful, dazzling place that is!

It doesn't always make sense-the way we live. We decide that's ok. People don't have to get it. Welcome to Foolish for Light, a place for exploring the counter-intuitive life of a light-chaser.

Foolish for Light is a place for anyone willing to challenge the way things have to be done. I'm kind of perfectly fine being called foolish as I chase the Light of the world. You?
